I am Hakan Özden

I graduated from Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in 1999. Since 2006, I have been working with the philosophy of boutique dentistry in my own practice in Ortaca/Muğla.

Is dental implant painful?

Implant surgery is performed under local anesthesia. You will not feel pain during the procedure. Mild swelling and sensitivity may occur for a few days after the operation, easily managed with pain relievers.

How long does implant treatment take?

The implant process takes an average of 3-6 months. The implant placement operation takes 1-2 hours, with a healing period of 2-4 months. Then the treatment is completed by making the crown. Duration may vary based on bone quality and patient health.

Are teeth cut for laminate veneer?

Much less tooth structure is removed compared to traditional crowns, and in some cases, the tooth is not touched at all. This helps preserve the natural tooth structure as much as possible while improving the aesthetics of the teeth and smile.

Is teeth whitening harmful?

Professional teeth whitening is safe when applied correctly under a dentist's supervision. The procedure does not damage tooth enamel. Temporary sensitivity for 24-48 hours after the procedure is normal and passes quickly.
